"Reasons" for the Plague:
During the horrific outbreak in Europe most people though that the plague was punishment from God. The plague caused mass chaos, everyone for themselves. People whipped and hurt themselves to make God forgive them s o the plague would go away. No one knew how the plague was spread. Doctors would wear special outfits to protect themselves from the plague. They wore a beak like mask with flowers in the tip to purify the air. They wore long, dark cloaks and protected their eyes with glass around the eye opening.
